This coat type is a combination of Long, Silky, Curly, Wavy/Fleece coat and short, smooth coat

Golden Retriever, Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Shin Tzu, Poodle, Yorkshire Terrier, Belgian Sheepdog, Border Collie, Cocker Spaniel, English Settler.

Double or Heavy Coat

Double coated breeds consist of straight and short to moderate, long hair- Siberian Husky, German Shepherd Etc.

Heavy coat is a combination of long, thick, silky hair and some short, smooth hair - Saint Bernard, Chow Chow, Keeshond etc.

Wire Coat

These breeds have a soft, dense undercoat over majority of body and wire coat over entire body. Soft undercoat will seasonally shed in cooler climates – Standard Schnauzer, Border Terrier Etc.
